Overall Satisfaction with Apollo

Apollo was used for the past three or four years as the tool for the company's initial outbounding efforts. Apollo was used by the entire BDR organization, from when it was just 1 person to when we got to about 8 people. A few months ago we switched to Outreach.io.
  • For teams that are looking to scale up their outbound efforts.
  • Teams that rely heavily on LinkedIn information as opposed to DiscoverOrg / ZoomInfo.
  • Reporting and dashboards
  • Integration into other tools
  • Very positive impact in bringing in enterprise size deals.
  • The team exceeded quotas every quarter I was on for a year using it as their primary outbound tool.
  • Outreach
We ended up going with Outreach recently, although Apollo was excellent for us in the beginning. I honestly miss using Apollo's sidebar functionality that worked seamlessly with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. The new workflow we have with DiscoverOrg to Outreach is not as efficient. But since we as a company doubled down on ZoomInfo we decided to go with a tool that more closely synced to that tool.
I received excellent support at any time I opened up a ticket. But I would add to it that the tool was very self-explanatory, so there wasn't much need for support. With Outreach, we have a closer relationship with our CSM because of the intricacy in things like SFDC task mapping.

Do you think Apollo.io delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Apollo.io's feature set?

Yes

Did Apollo.io live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Apollo.io go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Apollo.io again?

Yes

I think it depends on where the organization is and their goals. Apollo worked incredibly well for our small team that had more of a mass-blast style to our outbound efforts in the beginning. As we scaled, we needed a tool that synced better with SFDC and ZoomInfo, which is why we went to Outreach.
