One of the best modern tool with bunch of marketing features, it has replaced multiple tools for Data Mining, Email Marketing that we used to subscribe and will definitely be replacing one of the most costly CRM that we've been using for years. Our new team members were able to use it pretty quickly and have now started to use it daily.

We use Apollo.io to prospect for specific individuals within an organisation and gather information about their roles, especially those with decision-making powers. This helps us understand the current business flow. Essentially, we’re using Apollo.io as MNA advice to identify the right people in the organisation to discuss strategic initiatives and use cases. These use cases could include consolidating all the data into a single CRM tool or an Excel sheet, depending on our processing needs. This data will then be integrated into our built-in system.

Pros

  • It helps you find the contact details for the right decision maker within an organisation.
  • It helps you prospect for particular departments, sectors, geography, and other broader demographics to filter from.

Cons

  • There are certain features about prospecting that require updates. For example, if people switch organisations, it should be automatically requesting the new email or new contact data for a particular contact in order to be updated in the system
  • The lead databases that are created if their new addition should automatically be updated in the list that I created with Apollo.io

  • Apollo.io has helped me find a good set of new target audience for the business that I am in, essentially helping me build a prospective line and grow my lead database by 25 to 30% where I lack a certain skill

I use Apollo.io extensively in my work. I have a team of 20 people relying on good quality data and accounts on Apollo.io. Apollo.io is a one-stop solution for accounts when it comes to campaign creation and outreach. We have taken multiple licenses on Apollo.io for fetching accounts, leads, lead email, lead phone numbers and insights. We have integrated Slack and Clay for lead enrichment. Apollo.io does provide verified email IDs with almost 95% accuracy. A similar case with phone numbers.

My experience in using Apollo.io

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

So we use Apollo.io to find the email id of our potential customer. The purpose is to find their email id and send a cold email and phone number for cold calling purposes. So, as an email marketer, email ID is the most important thing for me. Most of the time, I could not find the email ID of the potential customer, so by using Apollo.io, I can pull the data in bulk and export it in the required format and start an email campaign. It has saved most of the time and also most effective. As an email marketer, Apollo.io is the best tool to scrape the potential customer details for cold email outreach or cold calling.

Pros

  • Firstly, finding the details of the potential customers that is there name, designation email and phone number since these are the most important cases most of the times I can get this data in Apollo.io
  • I can pull the bulk data of the targeted organization, or I can pull the emails based on the location and job titles
  • Apart from the email capture, the thing which helpful is that the email sequence can find emails and send emails in Apollo.io itself and also the report and the dashboard are so clean
  • Friendly UI and UX Apollo.io was the first tool which I used. Since then I'm still using Apollo.io for easy understanding

Cons

  • The most concerning thing is that previously Apollo.io was a reasonable price now the new pricing has been increased. Previously, I was on a top plan, but now I'm not. Pricing is the thing which should improve, I believe
  • In the higher education industry, when a new person is appointed or a change in the designation, it takes time in Apollo.io to show; sometimes it misses, but I can find their email id on Google. In some areas, I feel this. mainly in the Malaysian market
  • Sometimes the tab freezes in Chrome and works charm in the other browser. I thought its only for me, but a friend of mine is also facing this

  • ROI has recovered max purchase after 1-3 months in between
  • The lead quality is also good MQL And SQL
  • The bulk email export based on the designation and location is the most useful thing which has saved most of my time

I have been using Apollo.io from 2024. I use it to generate leads and to customise email campaigns.

Problem :
- In B2B, we need to connect with the very right person who can make the decision. Finding the right person becomes challenging and getting their contact details is more difficult when we are targeting the global market.
- Then the numbers and email id my company had are too old and outdated. If we are running any campaign, we get blocked and have no visibility on the open and click rate.

Solution that Apollo.io provided :
- We can customise our email as per the client and the AI helps in writing. We added 5 email IDs and were able to send automated 250 emails per user in a single day. (50 emails from each mail id per day keeps the health good, and you don't get tagged as spam)
- The filters are too good, you can target any industry from any geographical area with filters to target any designation from any vertical.
- The email tracking helped us in knowing the hot leads and it shows how many times the targeted person has viewed and clicked our link. This feature is too good for lead generation and helped our cold calling team to reach the targeted person in right time.
- The last is the phone number and email id available, which is updated and is linked to LinkedIn. You not only see the contact details but can check their LinkedIn ID as well.

  • The UI/UX is better than Lusha and Zoom info

  • The price is a bit high when it comes to the organisational category. Though we use the professional one, I have the urge to use the $119 plan, but it's too highly priced.
