Overall Satisfaction with Apollo
I use Apollo for contact discovery and email sequencing, Apollo has a chrome extension that pulls up email addresses, phone numbers, and board lines of a particular contact.
I use this mostly with LinkedIn sales navigator to zero in on the contact I need to reach out to, using the extension I can transfer all the contact list (25 at a time) and send them to the Apollo email sequence. The Email sequence in turn sends preset emails to these prospects.
Alternatively, I can simply check the email of an individual as well.

Pros
- Contact Discovery.
- Email sequencing.
- Analytics of emails sent.
- Phone numbers of individuals.
Cons
- Setting up the email sequence has a little bit of a learning curve.
- Removing contacts from the list can be a bit difficult.
- Changing time of email schedules can also be difficult.
- Can be more intuitive.
- ROI can take upto 6 months to reach, depending upon what your target segment is.
- Data of certain domains is highly accurate not the case with other domains.
- Overall a good choice.
Apollo is inexpensive of all the above tools. Data accuracy of other tools like lintel and infotelligent is much much better but they are expensive also. One needs to be careful while using data from Apollo because email bounces can damage your domain reputation. I suggest you use a different SMTP server while sending mail.
