Apollo.io is amazing BUT...
Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io
We use Apollo.io for outreach to cold leads. We started using it because our previous outreach platform wasn't delivering the desired results, and we were frequently getting blocked by recipient domains, especially those using Mimecast. With Apollo.io, we immediately noticed the beneficial statistics it provides, and we stopped experiencing blocks from Mimecast users.
Pros
- Outreach
- Showing Stats about deliverability
- Lead search
Cons
- More organize UI, it feels overwhelm sometimes with all the info
- Lack of Linkedin integration
- Since overcoming Mimecast blocking, we've begun booking meetings with their users, a result we couldn't achieve before.
- The lack of LinkedIn integration makes it impossible for us to go all-in with Apollo.io, as LinkedIn has been very successful for us.
- Finding new GOOD leads has become way easier due to Apollo.io recommendation of new leads
This is a great feature Apollo has, since we dont need to leave Apollo to look for new leads and add them to our outreach campaign, plus it has very good database. We are definitely getting more new leads to matches our criteria without putting the hard work, saving us a lot of time and headaches.
Apollo.io really saves us a lot of time. When you open the platform, the homepage automatically provides lead recommendations that perfectly match our criteria, based on the leads we've already saved and our outreach campaigns. This means we can quickly save new leads with just one click. What used to be at least a full day's work is now easily completed in about five minutes.
- Reply
I haven't actually made the full switch from Reply to Apollo.io. Right now, I'm using both! Reply has that LinkedIn integration that we really rely on, which is super important for us. But then Apollo.io gives us way better lead generation and outreach stats, and we seriously love and use all that data. So, for now, it's a bit of a juggling act trying to get the best of both worlds!
