Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

Apollo helps me create sales and marketing sequences with a variety of frameworks to start from. You can enrich company contacts right from your CRM and manually edit while sequencing which is a feature you cannot use in ZoomInfo. This is especially useful if you know the user's email but the platform does not auto-populate it. ZoomInfo still seems to have a higher number of contacts but Apollo is more intuitive and helpful with sequencing due to ease of editing and pop-ups to let me know if I'm about to send an email to someone from a list that Apollo has found is no longer with the company. I love the direction this product is going and it definitely rivals ZoomInfo. Had I known about Apollo sooner, I may have chosen it over ZI just for the intuitiveness and flexibility of sequencing. It's basically the best of SalesLoft and ZoomInfo combined and way more affordable.

Pros

  • Pop-ups that highlight when a contact is not updated
  • Editing email addresses while sequencing
  • Enrichment from your CRM
  • Easy to use, intuitive, takes very little training
  • Great free version
  • Sequencing tools such as frameworks and themes like "Win-Back" messaging

Cons

  • The LinkedIn integration is a little wonky and clunky
  • I wish I could toggle through tasks or if I can, make it easier to do
  • I have been able to cut down time from contact enrichment. This could take hours but with Apollo it only takes minutes.
  • Time savings making campaigns and sequences could be hours or days but only takes minutes now.
Huge impact on efficiency. Some tasks are nearly impossible without a flexible sequencing tool, Apollo makes it easy.
All of my previous answers are related to time savings. We've seen amazing time savings and sales enablement that we didn't have before.
It's so easy to use and intuitive and when I have questions, there are really comprehensive and easy to use Help features.
ZoomInfo's sequencing is very early in development so there aren't any management tools yet and it's pretty buggy. Apollo's sequencing is much more flexible, easy to use and feature-rich. LinkedIn Sales Nav is awful for searches, no sequencing or email or contact data. It's only useful if you literally Google "LinkedIn" + whoever you're trying to find.
