Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

Use it for lead generation. Apollo helps filter the list of leads to focus and thereby create targeted campaigns for better probability of booking a meeting.

Pros

  • Automated workflow

Cons

  • learning curve is high cos of the number of functions
  • additional training (only one 1:1 provided as of now)
  • grouping of functions for better ease of use
  • Just started using couple months back so no meetings booked yet
  • improved personalization and ICP targeting
  • Reduced time spent on searching in google or zoominfo
As of now I can definitely see that capabilities available in Apollo are comprehensive enough and would lead us to not require zoominfo or the dialer tool we use internally.
Time is the most critical aspect which Apollo is helping us currently because of the lean team we operate with. We are trying to maximize the AI based workflows to save even more time.
This is one place i think there's scope for improvement esp. cos there's ton of functions available and as a new user its difficult to keep track of where each function is.
As of now Apollo definitely seems to be better than ZoomInfo.

Lead filtering and automated email generation is pretty nice in Apollo. A structured and modularized UI would help in faster learning.
