create eLearning in Rise and Storyline

Pros

  • Rise - want to have ability for global background course color (dark mode for all instead of choosing each block)
  • Rise - want ability to display 3 bigger flip cards horizontally
  • Rise - want ability to grab and drag blocks instead of clicking up and down to move each

I use Rise and Storyline mostly. I create courses in Rise and then create custom storyline assets and drop into Rise. We are interested and planning to purchase Articulate 360 AI in 2025. I use Review 360 to distribute my courses or stakeholder review. I love how easy it is for stakeholders to provide feedback and how easy it is for me (as ID) to complete/manage their edits.
I love how we can switch blocks (flip cards to process block, etc) quickly. Saves me a lot of time instead of copy/paste! I appreciate its text generation in the blocks too. I also like that it’s so easy to add an AI voice to the blocks as well!
I love Articulate 360 products. They are all so nicely integrated and play nice together. They are easy to use and intuitive. I like the AI integration and New Custom Block. Also, I can create really custom interactions in Storyline when needed and add them into Rise.

Well suited - I use Rise for the overall "look and feel of course" and drop custom storyline assets into it. also love that I can create images, gifs, videos etc in Canva and easily drop into Rise to create a course rapidly while maintaining a consistent look and feel with vertical navigation
