Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
Developing Rise courses for various clients including Higher Education, corporate, and K-12 staff training. Incorporating Storyline blocks into Rise for custom interactions, scenarios, etc.
Pros
- Rise is easy to use and has clean design for quick course creation
- Storyline's trigger wizard and display keeps all the triggers visible and organized to reference (used constantly throughout development)
- Layer system gives flexibility within slide development to take multiple different approaches to the same problem
Cons
- Would love to be able to trigger groups of objects or shapes instead of making a new trigger for each one
- Customizing focus order gets very discombobulated with master slide objects in addition to the objects on the current slide. Unchecking the "show for accessibility" box is buried 3+ clicks deep to update objects and makes it tedious to update.
- More customization for the look and feel of Rise courses
- Being able to save a color palette and font sizes (for example, when bolding text I might also make it a highlight color. But then to update everywhere I need to re-paste the hex code instead of choosing a previously used swatch.
- More accessible course creation in Rise
- Decreased time for final course product with Rise
- Review 360 decreased time for receiving detailed feedback from many stakeholders
Integrate SToryline blocks into Rise courses for custom interactions, scenarios, etc. Review is used to give feedback on individual slides in Storyline or individual elements in Rise.
I have not used AI Assistant, we do not have the subscription
Trigger wizard is easier to use than advanced actions in Captivate. Storyline feel more seamless than Captivate.
