Educated Opinion on the Articulate 360 Platform

Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Storyline to create all of the WBT/CBTs in our area of business. We review our content every other year and find that variables become glitchy when switching to a new template. Sometimes, they become glitchy from the creation, where it is working, to the uploading and use. There doesn't seem to be a true reason or rational as to how or why they end up not working.

Pros

  • It is super easy to learn.
  • I love the ability to send a review to my SME and assign a due date.
  • Uploading assets into the platform is super easy.
  • Making changes to videos sound and length within the platform is great.
  • I love that when I need to change out an old picture, I can just right click and change it to a new picture.

Cons

  • I would like for variables to be easier to understand.
  • I would love more animation ability.
  • I would like an easy way to change an existing template to a new template.
  • Decreased training cost. We don't have to have an instructor teaching everything
  • It is easier when changes are needed. You can go in make the change and upload, so there is a cost savings there
  • We have people all over the world. We don't have the cost of flying those trainers and housing them
In my current department, we only use Storyline and Review 360. We are not allowed to use AI or anything that says AI. We have our own LMS platform that the entire company uses. We use the assets in Storyline to enhance our learning. Once a learning is created, we send it via Articulate 360 review for documented, savable feedback. From there, we upload into our LMS.
We are not allowed to use any AI. I will be working to add these features in the future as I have seen amazing benefits.
Sometimes when using the triggers, the program will get a little glitchy.

We use Storyline for everything. We use it for compliance training, new product training, new fleet training, safety training, We use it for video wrapping so the video is in a training and trackable in LMS. It is used for corporate trainings like how to handle unsafe people, how to handle privacy data and DE&I Training. We do not use Articulate 360 for on the job training or sign off training.
