Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We use it to create eLearning for the Life Science Industry. Our courses range from microlearnings to long-form courses.
Pros
- Create Scorm

- Javascript
Cons
- Audio editing
- Video editing
- More flexible zoom feature
- Some basic animations have sped up timelines for us.
- Translation using ai has definitely saved us days.
- Review 360 has been invaluable for clients to preview our work.
I mainly use Storyline and Review 360. I have used Rise in the past, but it's not really flexible enough for the kind of detailed and extensive interactions that we produce. I have yet to use the AI assistant to create anything other than placeholder audio until I can get a voice actor to complete the actual task.
I have not used AI for this. From what I've seen with other products, it is not up to the task, yet. The time saved by creating images, for instance, is balanced by the need to edit/correct those images. It's more like actively managing a vaguely competent assistant. You have to keep an eye on them.
For most projects, Storyline is the best of all of these. Not sure what Adobe is doing with Captivate. The attention that Articulate pays to Storyline & updates vs Adobe doesn't to Captivate is telling.
