Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We use Articulate 360 to create e-learnings, e-books, and videos. We work with different areas of the business to create these items (if needed). We use videos for promotions or informational content. E-learnings are used to address gaps in knowledge and skill. We use storyline to create scenario based learning through the use of branching scenarios. Rise is used for more quick turnaround e-learnings, but we also use Rise for e-books as well-which we share on our company intranet.

Pros

  • Ai Voiceover
  • Ai word edit
  • Lots of versatility with storyline to customize courses

Cons

  • naming variables in storyline
  • Ai course creation using source materials
  • Pronunciation of some words in AI VO
  • Saves time with Ai text editing
  • Improved Ai voice have saved money on getting voiceover artists to record narration for training
  • Translation to some languages are pretty accurate-saving money on translations
We use Rise and Storyline mostly to create e-learnings, videos, and e-books. For our e-learnings, we generate a Review360 link that is shared with SMEs to help with collaboration and review. Any e-learning material was make is converted to SCORM and uploaded into our LMS. For informational videos or e-books, we usually generate an Articulate 360 link (for e-books) or MP4 file (for videos) to upload to our intranet.
I prefer using the Ai text editing to help revise a text or make it shorter or straightforward.

I have used the Ai course generator before, but I find that the outline it gives me needs to be heavily edited, and it would be helpful if it actually provided content for each parts of the outline.

I also wish it could summarize an entire course in Rise. It does it with Storyline courses, but I have not seen this option for Rise.
It's the only authoring tool we use. Rise in particular is user friendly and Storyline is very customizable. Articulate 360 support is also very helpful and they provide quick and timely responses to solve issues. They are always making improvements to their products and are open to customer feedback. As I mentioned earlier, their Ai voices are also very good and natural sounding.
We still use Camtasia for some video generation. The Camtasia timeline is easier to work with-but I find that Storyline has more customizable options when it comes to video generation.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

Well suited for video creation, branching scenarios, knowledge checks.

Could be improved: Ai content creation from source content, collection analytics and data, and better image generation. Ai images are not particularly great. If you as for an image of a hand, it might show you a hand with 7 fingers. It also takes a while for an image to be generated by Ai. Also, if I want to create custom icons in Storyline, the timeline can get messy-so I use ppt for that instead.
