The Option of Choice.
Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
I am an external consultant and use Storyline to design and develop e-learning for clients. The functionality, which includes layers,
triggers, states, and variables, provides flexibility and creative
possibilities that can’t be found in any other authoring tools, which lets me design and develop virtually anything I can imagine, or my clients may need.

Pros
- Storyline provides states that support branching and different audiences.
- Storyline provides variables that remember information throughout a lesson.
- Storyline provides triggers that give me all the versatility of writing code without having to write code.
Cons
- AI images sometimes include unwanted text.
- So much content in eLearning Heroes it's hard to sort it all out.
- eLearning Heroes does not have a simple, high-level "tech support" button.
- Quicker course creation.
- Ease of client review.
- Ease of posting to an LMS.
I am using only Storyline. So the Review feature is invaluable. Reach would be most helpful for any client who does not already have an LMS. But all in all, Storyline, now with its built-in AI, provides all I need to design and development about anything a client may need.
I use AI primarily for image creation, which is good for setting a scene, using avatars, who may or may not talk, and infographics, making spreadsheets and other data easier to understand and more visually interesting than is possible with presenting raw spreadsheets or data on screen.
