Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

We use Atlassian Confluence to provide one centralized place for documentation that users across the organization can access. Different departments have their own spaces and can house team specific documentation. Our HR team uses it to house company wide process documentation and more.

Pros

  • adding images to pages - super easy to move them around, resize them and add captions
  • creating tables for page content
  • expandable content blocks

Cons

  • using anchors - i can very easily create anchors but linking to them is a big pain point and takes me time to figure out each time
  • the decision block can be difficult to know when to use (and use well
  • real time collaborating can be difficult because two people can't edit the same page at the same time
  • our business is on the same page now, no matter where you are in the company
Atlassian Confluence is pretty easy to use. There are few things that I've had to look up but their help documentation is quite useful. It's easy to create pages and organize information.

Atlassian Confluence is well suited for creating process documentation that can be widely viewed. It is also great for collaborating in project management - creating pages and tagging other team members to keep everyone aligned and make sure people have the right expectations.
