Overall Satisfaction with Automox
Automox is our go-to solution for vulnerability patching. Automox allows us to create custom patching policies which are tailored to us and the way we operate as a business. It is very easy to understand and the user interface is fantastic. We are able to setup different patching policies for different areas of equipment and that allows us to be more hands off when it comes to staying secure. I can easily look at reporting and assess what is happening at any time and how up to date our hardware is.
Pros
- Allows me to make detailed policies to implement patching for security vulnerabilities.
- Gives me the reporting I need to weed out old devices and keep our inventory up to date for assets in production.
- Gives me a dashboard look at detailed vulnerabilities, as well as allowing me to break down to a granular level to see devices affected.
- Provides a great library of patching resolutions to help with correcting other software or vulnerability concerns.
Cons
- I wish we could customize the dashboard graphs to be tailored to my specific needs. It does not help me to look at the "Device Health" graph and see that 90 servers have "outstanding patches" when some of those are simple third party software updates that are available. I'd love to be able to tailor the graph to show devices needing attention based on the "patch severity" of my choice.
- Allow me to setup custom dashboard widgets or graphs for quick glances at patches and compliance results.
- We used to use a different patching solution and since switching to Automox, I have been able to cut the amount of time I spend on vulnerability management by 50% or more. I love how "set it and forget it" some of the policies can be. I love how simple it is to keep an eye on things.
We have saved tons of time we used to waste on manually patching certain pieces of hardware and clients. We can now focus more on getting as close as we can to a "zero day" protection instead of constantly playing keep-up. It has entirely changed my job and my confidence in providing the best service and protection to all of our end clients.
The Automox interface is way friendlier and easy to use. Time is money and I save both by choosing Automox.
