Overall Satisfaction with Automox
We use Automox as a patch management, software management, and remote control tool. It works fantastically for both. The remote control is very secure and works great in all OS versions. Patch management is very easy to setup and works well. One of my favorite parts of Automox is the worklets. It makes software management so easy and allows you to use the power of powershell to do a lot tasks without having to remote into the computer. The best part is the user is none the wiser.
Pros
- Patch management
- Software/Machine Management
- Remote control
Cons
- The only tricky thing is setting restart/reboot deferrals is a little tricky.
- Improved IT team efficiency
- Opens more possiblities for workstation management
- Consolidates tools into one
Easier patch management and less end user interruption. We were also able to remove old software from the workstations using the worklets catalog and custom worklets. And keeping all internet browsers up to date all the time is huge.
Reasonably priced for what you get. Easy to use. Worklets

No we did not. Premium support for us didn't make sense. Automox is running well now and don't foresee the need the premium support.
I've only had one support ticket, but the agent followed up and was great at suggesting solutions and troubleshooting steps.
