Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We use Avalara to manage our sales tax calculations as well as handle our resale certificates. We use it across our business organization. Avalara ensures that we have proper sales tax calculations and collections and provides peace of mind that we are doing it correctly.
- Easy user interface that allows for all skill sets to use the information
- Responsive representatives who are always willing to help
- Detailed reports that provide all information necessary to assist in easy filings
- It's not always easy to figure out if your setup is correct. It requires going through different departments and digging through data to confirm.
- Automatic rate changes that do not need to be done through manual tax tables has saved significant amounts of time.
- Return preparation and filing has been streamlined and the time needed to do the calculations has been cut in half.
- The software does not make it easy to find exceptions to the rule. Everything is black and white with no room for the "what-if" scenarios that all companies face.
We use the exemption certificate managment. It is a great tool to manage all certificates and also allow for less manual work.
