Avalara Feature Ratings
Cross-Border Tax Compliance with Avalara
Yes, Avalara has kept us compliant in the 40 states which we have nexus and need to file taxes. Avalara also keeps us up to date with any upcoming tax laws that will come into effect. Avalara keeps track of your progress towards obtaining nexus in a particular state and suggest on when to apply for a sales tax license.
Avalara has allowed our company to continue selling nationwide after the enactment of the Wayfair law. With so many jurisdictions throughout the 50 states, I feel like it would be nearly impossible to stay up to date with all of the rates, rate changes and laws in each of the jurisdictions.
