Overall Satisfaction with Avalara AvaTax

It is very good.
AvaTax is integrated with our accounting system (Intacct). It determines proper sales tax rates on all of our sales invoices. We also use AvaTax in all of our compliance, in which we file in all 50 states.
  • I like how I can talk to customer service anytime.
  • Avatax will take care of tax notices.
  • They helped us get registered in multiple states.
  • Customer service can be a wait.
  • Tax notices are done mostly by email. Would like more human interaction so I can better communicate issues.
  • Would like more help with non-US compliance in Canada.

Yes, we use Cert Capture or AvaCert. We are happy with it.
We are a mid-sized company. My feeling is that is perfect for Avalara. Very large companies may use larger service providers.
