Overall Satisfaction with Axcient x360Recover

We use the Axcient x360Recover systems for all our client servers and such. It covers backups, recovery, virtualization, and much more. In the event of needing a file - it handles that. When we need to virtualize a downed server, it handles that too. Everything in between these is handled without much need for adjustment.

Pros

  • Flexible application
  • Great functionality
  • Detailed reports

Cons

  • Ease of use - menus aren't always obvious.
  • Live view of what the unit is doing under the hood - more details of operation.
  • Simple functions need to have buttons and clearly marked - "halt backup immediately" or something.
  • Saved money from other providers.
  • Still get backups without having to have specific type of devices.
  • Can backup a site without needing anything on site at all.
They perform different functions for us. They are all equally useful for what they do.

Axcient x360Recover is most useful in an environment with one or more servers. They can be cloud or physical - there are solutions for both. It is not as useful for single PC or serverless environments. Workstation backup isn't really something we would expect from Axcient overall, so environments with no servers wouldn't really benefit from the systems.
