Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

We use both the HR functions and the Payroll product from BambooHR®. They do make things simple and the HR modules are very helpful.

Pros

  • The ability to store data on employees in an organized manner
  • Linking Benefits in the HR and payroll functions
  • the online chats are answered by REAL LIVE people!

Cons

  • Payroll Implementation should have more involvement by BambooHR® Staff
  • The guides we are given when we have questions are nice-- but I would rather have a live person assist with making corrections or adjustments. Often the guides do not "precisely" give the answer. they are more generic
  • Staff love the integration we have now that we use BambooHR® for HR AND for payroll.
  • We are saving $2500/year by combining our Payroll with BambooHR® -- rather than using a separate provider.
  • Combining Payroll saves us about 2-4 hours of work for each payroll
Screens are easy to navigate, and very intuitive.
Staff is always friendly. Some of the staff are clearly new and could use some more training-- but they are always polite
Less expensive than ADP and much more up to date and efficient than Heartland

We started with the HR product, and it is truly wonderful to track staff information. The pages are easy to use. We are a small/medium nonprofit so BambooHR® is perfect for us, and less expensive that some of the "big box" HR/Payroll companies.
