Overall Satisfaction with Bitdefender GravityZone

We are currently using Bitdefender GravityZone for antivirus, patch management, and encryption for our mobile devices. It allows us to have a one-stop shop solution for the various devices we have in our organization.
This helps us use a web-based platform for our devices that are spread throughout a large area and across multiple locations.
  • Antivirus/malware
  • Encryption management
  • Web filtering
  • Patch management
  • Customer service--they direct you to YouTube links and offer answers that are easy but not a good solution. (e.g., Delete old records instead of figuring out why multiple instances are showing up in the dashboard)
  • Android/iOS devices can't be managed unless on a local network with on-premises solution
  • More robust web filtering platform
  • As we have a limited staff, Bitdefender GravityZone allows us to manage all of our devices from one suite. This has increased our efficiency.
  • Allows us to make sure endpoints are up to date on patches.
  • Gives a good overview of devices with potential issues.
Bitdefender GravityZone is easier to use compared to other platforms. I found others to be convoluted in their program management features.
This is one area where I feel Bitdefender GravityZone could use some work. It's more hit and miss. We've had times where we've gotten some great tech support help. Other times we are quickly referred to YouTube links (which my network admin watched before calling). Other times, we're given answers that are a quick response but not exactly troubleshooting the problem. For example, we have an issue where we are seeing multiple entries of our endpoints in the console. We asked why multiple entries were showing up and what we could do to resolve them. The tech support agent suggested to set up a rule to delete old entries. However that would not be efficient, as an endpoint may not be on for quite a while before it is turned on and contacts the system again. We want a solution for a problem, not a quick-fix answer that doesn't really address the problem at hand.

Do you think Bitdefender GravityZone delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Bitdefender GravityZone's feature set?

Yes

Did Bitdefender GravityZone live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Bitdefender GravityZone go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Bitdefender GravityZone again?

Yes

We use the web-based version to push down operating system updates, antivirus, and enforce encryption policies for our laptops. Bitdefender GravityZone doesn't work well for Android devices. I also feel that the web filtering platform of Bitdefender GravityZone could use some more work. Currently it does a great job at web filtering; however, I haven't been able to deep dive into it yet and am not sure how granular it can get when it comes to specific users being allowed to access certain domains.
