Overall Satisfaction with Bitdefender GravityZone
We use it in our organization and our clients. We use the EDR to protect the desktops and servers. This is part of an overall security strategy to protect companies from external and internal threats.
Pros
- Protect from Viruses.
- Protect from Malware.
- Block untrustworthy websites.
- Alert when there is an issue.
Cons
- Better Documentation.
- Easier way address software blocking access when initially installed on the desktop without having to uninstall Bitdefender.
- Network Printers by default are blocked - we found this out on home systems and it caused a real headache at first.
- Identified issues at the new client site desktop that allowed us to address them and made the client feel confident that we are doing all to protect them.
- Helps increase our revenue as part of our security stack.
- Improved client awareness and appreciation of cyber security.
We found Bitdefender to be better. In our attempts to infect a test Windows 10 VM's we could not get around Bitdefender. Additionally, we have not had any complaints about performance once installed. That was not the case with Symantec.
