BlackLine is being used by our Finance and Accounting teams to better manage month end close processes and associated dependencies. I have used it for 7 years at 2 hyper growth tech companies. The product's main benefit is helping to better coordinate month end close processes, which get increasingly complex as your company matures and your Accounting team expands.
- Easy to get set up and start leveraging quickly.
- Market leader, so many of your Accounting professionals should already be familiar with it.
- Product enables CAOs to have more comfort that close is on track and everything it getting done on schedule.
- Pricing is fair, scalable, and reasonable.
- Product team listens to feedback.
- The tool integrates well with other associated systems.
- Feature robustness — the core features work well, but it is not an all in one Accounting solution.
- Better visualization / ability to better tailor to your company's brand identity.
- Quicker Sales process.
- Enabled Accounting team to stay coordinated during critical month end close period.
