Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

We are working on implementing BlackLine's Reconciliations, Tasks, Variance and Journals globally across 6 countries and 300 users. This will enable us to go from highly manual processes to automated.
  • Truly an accountants tool and helping us move from manual tasks to true value added review of accounts.
  • The SAP connector with web services is mandatory for journals if you are an SAP customer. Difficult to implement but worth every bit.
  • The procurement process was a bear! We were in the middle of procuring when the SAP Solex option was pushed on us. Slowed the process down and added a lot of frustration.
  • None yet, just starting implementation. However, we are expecting over 500 hours of close time saved across the org.
During the implementation the support team has been quick to help overcome issues.

I am really pleased with how easy it is to complete recons now. No copy pasting of balances or trouble shooting complicated spreadsheets. The focus is on the data, not the excel file.
