Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it to submit reconciliations, SOX files, and booking automatization (we upload the booking to BL, and the booking is done in the local ERP system). BL is also used for approving bookings and files. Also, there are tasks that are certified, e.g., during or after month-end closure.

I think the most important part of Blackline is the Journal booking automation. In my previous role, I had to work overtime because at month-end closure, the Journal Vouchers had to be booked, so it was a lot of manual work, booking all the lines one by one. Now, the file is uploaded, and it is done.
