Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

BlackLine is used for tasks and reconciliations at our organization. Transaction matching is also being utilized. Currently looking into FRA and Journal Entries. BlackLine streamlines management and operational processes that were previously being handled manually. This has allowed for better oversight, prevent possible issues/errors and provide a streamlined workflow and added efficiencies we were unable to implement internally.

We have received delayed assistance to tickets for trouble shooting issues. There have been multiple trouble shooting issues that took a few weeks to get a response and resolution.
BlackLine has had a great impact to our Accounting department and operational processes. This has allowed for increased productivity and streamlined processes. They have also allowed us to think outside the box with how the products are set up and influences to our way of thinking to allow for better processes to be implemented.
We tried to implement Frontier reconciliation system many years ago and the were unable to utilize the system as anticipated. Essentially we purchased a system that we could not use which was as negative experience.

Tasks allow for better management and tracking of monthly recurring duties. Customizable functionality that allows for continuous evolution to continue to gain/grow efficiencies. Ability to revamp current processes amongst implementation to eliminate old and outdated processes and 'way of thinking'. Ability auto-certify reconciliations is a great efficiency and also to group recons to decrease the number of recons that have to be 'worked'/approved.
