Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
We use the Reconciliations, Journal Entries and Intercompany Modules. It provides us one place for all of our reconciliations to reside and provides a standard template for booking manual journal entries for our in-scope systems. Our current use of Intercompany Hub is limited.
Pros

- metric reporting on activity performed in BlackLine
Cons
- Too difficult to connect and maintain connections to old ERPs
- Intercompany Hub is difficult and expensive to get full value out of
- It has definitely help us manage our close process via tasks
- It has provided us with a consistent location that reconciliations are performed
- Our company is paying way to much for the value we are getting out of intercompany hub
- Our data was not input consistently across the organization leading to inability to get the ROI we should be getting. Spending huge amount on fixing sins of the past
I have found more value from going outside to other service providers to unlock value in BlackLine. This has been costly. I'm still searching for an instance where BlackLine themselves provide me with advice and coaching that unlocks value.
We selected High Radius. I'm not sure the reason as it was a different department that did the selection.
