Overall Satisfaction with Bloomerang
Bloomerang is the donor software program utilized by Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County (Indiana). All donor related information is housed within this software program. The Executive Director is the primary user. All of our fundraising activity is captured through this program as well as our on-line donation option through our website www.mealsonwheelshc.org.
The Director of Volunteer Services also uses the software for volunteer related activities. We are able to better track volunteer information and create reports as needed regarding volunteer demographics.
- Love the ability to utilize the on-line donation feature. This has saved a tremendous amount of time. Donations are logged into our system and I am notified immediately. It is such a simple tool to use and for an organization as small as ours, it means less repetition for staff!
- Generating reports. I like being able to easily create what I need, when I need it without having to "jump through a bunch of hoops."
- Very user friendly. I have found this to be so much easier to navigate than several other donor software programs that I have used in the past. User friendly and LOTS of features!
- With some of the recent updates, I think Bloomerang has made it a bit harder to create reports. Still much easier than other programs but, I thought some of the ease of creating was taken away. I am not terribly computer savvy so, this may have impacted me much differently than others.
- Definitely a time saver! For example, we have an annual fundraiser and need to import a great deal of data (as many as 300 donations in one evening) that would take hours upon hours to do manually. It is such a simple upload and from there we are able to complete the reports needed for our Board of Directors to evaluate the success of the event.
- eTap
No contest! I believe that eTap is extremely difficult to navigate and the features are awful. I could never run a simple report without it taking me forever to figure out how to create it in a way that captured everything I needed.
