Overall Satisfaction with Bloomerang
Bloomerang is used primarily by the Development Committee of the volunteer Foundation Board. Since we have no professional staff Bloomerang is essential in keeping our donor data organized. We also use Bloomerang to send blast emails and facilitate donation transactions.
- The reporting function, especially the built-in canned reports, are very easy to use and very helpful when trying to look at donor data from a specific perspective.
- The donation forms are very easy to set up and integrate directly onto your website.
- The blast email is a little clunky, especially for anyone who may be used to using MailChimp.
- You cannot mass delete custom fields, so if you make a mistake with a batch upload there is no way to resolve it.
For what you get from Bloomerang you would need to pay much more for a comparable package from Blackbaud.
