Overall Satisfaction with Bloomfire

We use Bloomfire as a means for sharing external insight (i.e. market data and analysis, or thought leadership) as well as facilitate internal knowledge (sharing research between teams and departments). It is used right across the organisation as one of the ways of addressing and reducing the risk of siloing occurring, particularly since coronavirus forced remote working.
  • Usability.
  • Clarity.
  • Social media 'feel.'
  • Interactivity - more features for smart navigation.
  • Integration - we also use lots of other tools, how could it integrate with e.g. Yammer, etc.
  • Smart functionality - ability to offer more analytic value directly, rather than as a platform for it.
  • Personally use regularly for insight preparing for e.g. talks, webinars - direct value to me.
  • Harder to calculate ROI in not for profit environment, but NPS score has improved since we started using (cause/effect dubious).
  • Definitely it has improved efficiency of me and my colleagues in finding relevant information and data.

Do you think Bloomfire delivers good value for the price?

Did Bloomfire live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Would you buy Bloomfire again?

Yes

  • Guru
I have had some limited experience with Guru that might be a competitor? Seems more like a monday.com (workflow/stack, etc.) compared to Bloomfire which I view purely as knowledge and insight sharing and facilitation.
If a mid-sized company (50-200) asked me for recommendations in this area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. For smaller companies, not sure how much value it would add, and no idea what it's capabilities are in larger environments.

Encouraging initial engagement with the platform is a challenge in my experience. Whether this is something for our organisation to address, or it is incumbent on Bloomfire, is hard to say, but there is opportunity for Bloomfire to offer more in supporting this.
