Overall Satisfaction with Bluebeam Revu

The software is used for proposals, estimating and operations. It is our default pdf program for presentations and take-off.
  • It is a powerful tool for simple take-offs.
  • Great for graphical presentation.
  • Works well with collaboration to review documents.
  • The interface is overwhelming.
  • Bluebeam Studio sometimes runs slow.
  • We can get our takeoffs done faster when everyone is using the same tool sets and documents.
  • It speeds up the process of updating plan sets.
OnScreen: Bluebeam (BB) blows away On-Screen. BB has every feature On-Screen does and it can do way more.

Agtek: Bluebeam is a lot easier for take-offs when compared to Agtek's Material TakeOff module.

Adobe Acrobat: Bluebeam's markup list and grid is one of the many ways that Bluebeam is superior to Adobe Acrobat.
Bluebeam is well suited for take-offs and marking up documents.

Bluebeam struggles with creating drafting and creating drawings.
