Overall Satisfaction with Bluehost
We hold an annual education conference and use Bluehost (and their tools) for creating, maintaining, and hosting our site. Their "all in one" approach lets us set up a custom domain, build the website, and track visitors. Being able to manage everything from one place has simplified the entire conference experience for the people who manage the event.
- Customer service/tech support is simply top-notch. Being able to pick up the phone, get help, and not get charged for it is rare in the tech-support world.
- Their Dashboard/C-panel has a wide selection of popular tools and options to make website design and all that goes with it very easy. Lots of choices; they are more than a simple hosting service.
- Keeping their tools up-to-date. I never have to worry about upgrades or having the latest features; it just happens automatically!
- Although their upgrades are generally awesome, when the GUI changes, it can be a challenge to find what you are looking for (i.e. "where did that go?").
- It might be nice to have a "simplified" view for new users; the number of options can be overwhelming for someone not familiar with web development/hosting.
- Because of their level of service and support, we were able to create our web presence in-house without the need to hire an external firm or consultant. Consequently, Bluehost has more than paid for itself.
- The efficiency of the all-in-one solution means our web person doesn't have to spend time logging into different sites and managing different accounts, and the business office only has to pay one vendor.
