Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
It’s being used across the whole organisation for our internal and external communication. All calls are now video calls as it helps globally disperse teams work closer together. I use it only a daily basis to speak to different teams around the company and external stakeholders too.
- Open source heritage is strong and the company is always interested in feedback on how to improve the platform
- Seems to be more reliable than others out there, works across more browsers/OS
- Great mobile app
- The app can ‘intelligently’ pick up BlueJeans calls from your calendar and link you to upcoming calls, but it doesn’t work half the time.
- External users have more difficulties with the platform that our company, where we use it all the time. Might be that people are unfamiliar with it in comparison to other, larger providers.
- Sometimes have difficulties with connection, particularly when using video/screen sharing (despite being on good internet connection). Rare occurrence.
- Way more face-to-face conversations, bringing teams together.
- Better internal and external meetings, more interactive with video.
- Increased our external communication through different mediums.
Have not looked at many other competitors but by using Webex and GoToMeeting on a somewhat regular basis for other meetings, I know they are awful in comparison to BlueJeans.
