Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans Events

I use BlueJeans to stream online educational content. I stream online workshops and lectures, facilitate conversations for members via breakout sessions, and save recordings to be uploaded for asynchronous use. BlueJeans allows students to attend workshops and lectures virtually, which is important given the pandemic.

Pros

  • Stream online content
  • Save and download recorded meetings for future review
  • Facilitate user engagement through chat and breakout sessions

Cons

  • I often do not see new chat messages while I am sharing my screen
  • Sometimes the recordings take a long time to upload
  • Video quality is reduced and at times laggy
  • Increased virtual engagement
  • Increased safety during the pandemic
Sometimes the video and audio is laggy, and recordings take awhile to upload
I use BlueJeans at school because that is what my college uses. Every student automatically has access and it is integrated with Canvas. Google Meet is worse for screen sharing and breakout rooms. Zoom and BlueJeans are fairly comparable with most features.
