Overall Satisfaction with Board

Board helps us look at all of the data and make better and more informed business decisions regarding our company's future. It allows us to consolidate in record time between all of our departments. That's the most important of this software if you ask me. Engineering, Marketing, and Finance all come together.

Pros

  • Consolidation between different sectors of the company.
  • Helps us plan for the future with clear data.
  • Our HR is using it to report on employee performance.

Cons

  • The UI could be more up to date.
  • Not as fast and smooth as they claim it to be. Still not that bad.
  • I don't think its features are as advanced as it claims to be.

  • Helped us save 30% of our engineering budget by giving us the data to realize that we didn't need to develop certain features.
  • Helped cut down on HR reporting time by at least 50%.
  • Has saved us a lot of time from unnecessary meetings between different departments.
Board has been more complete when compared to Anaplan. Although I didn't participate in the buying decision of any of those products I have used both and by far Board just has more features. It's more than a CPM, it's BI and CPM put together. If I had to make a choice now it would be Board.
It's been very good when all departments of the company had to pitch in data/information for a specific business decision. My company had to have input from Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Customer Support, and accounting in order to decide on what kind of development was next needed for our platform.
