Overall Satisfaction with BrightEdge

BrightEdge works with our team to ensure that we doing everything we can to optimize our site content for maximum searchability. The team at BrightEdge helped us by pointing out key flaws in our previous operations and has helped us get on par with current best-practices. We meet with our account manager every two weeks to go over current progress, and she assists us in finding the next area of focus.

  • Their platform is definitely not something that a novice could pick up without some assistance from their team.
  • It's not immediately obvious what all of the tools do, and how best they can be leveraged to direct action.

Our team's bandwidth is spread pretty thin at the moment, and BrightEdge's services aren't inexpensive. If we don't renew, it will be because our team is not in a position to move forward with their recommendations. We would consider picking back up once our team is in a position to make BrightEdge tasks more of a priority.
When Google switched to safe search, our ability to track our search traffic decreased dramatically. When this happened, Brightedge started to report on a page-level basis. This was a good solution, but took a while to roll out.
