Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
Testing new website releases across mobile platforms and ensuring responsiveness. We also use it to test issues presented by clients on specific platforms not run by our team physically to replicate issues. We process at least two newly designed websites per month, if not more. Additional cases are presented for support related items.
Pros
- Variety of device options
- Relatively bug-free / reliable platform
- Dedication to accessibility and increasing tool options/effectiveness for testing
- Adding new features and increasing value for BrowserStack purchase
Cons
- Load times are occasionally slow when loading devices for the first time
- Browser testing
- App testing
- Soon (hopefully) accessibility testing
- Unknown, not tracked.
Either not testing on certain devices altogether and only testing on devices team members had on hand. Having to use personal devices for testing. Not being able to replicate users issues because we couldn't get the right device and version to test with.
