Overall Satisfaction with Camtasia
My company is a software training and consulting company. Camtasia is our primary program for creating and editing training and informational videos. Because of this, I work with Camtasia almost daily. I can quickly and effortlessly create professional looking videos with annotations, transitions, animations, etc. with no difficulty at all. Additionally, the share features allow me to produce too many different distribution methods quite easily. Because of this, I work with Camtasia almost daily.
- Recording Options --The options I use are the webcam, computer screen, and voice narration. Other options include computer camera, voice narration, and other audio.
- Share Options -- Their share options give you great flexibility. I share using the custom production option as .mp4. You can also share directly to Screencast.com, Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive, create your own custom production, export a frame or even export audio only.
- Video Enhancement Options -- The video enhancement options allow you to create polished, professional looking videos with ease. They include text annotations, behaviors, cursor effects, visual effects, animations, zoom-n-pan animations, transitions and editor properties.
- Help - Their help feature is incredible. They have everything you need right at your fingertips, including step by step instructions, definitions, tutorials, AND their support is Phenomenal!
- Splicing -- The splicing feature doesn't seem as straight forward as other features.
- Camtasia gives me the ability to efficiently create the professional training videos I need for my business without having to jump through a lot of hoops or spend a lot of money.
