Camtasia is used in my department to share how to videos and demo paths of the solutions we offer.
It is a standard in the market. Super powerful when you are recording your screen because later you can edit that recording and add compelling effects that take your explanations to the next level.

- Outstanding recording capabilities with no hassle
- Ability to edit in a compelling way the recordings to illustrate the explanations
- Video conversion capabilities that allow you to customize the video format and quality depending on the media on which it is going to be shared
Cons
- I would suggest allowing the users to schedule recordings. That would be really useful when you would like to record a meeting
- The high quality of the videos you produce, this is something really useful considering the average quality of videos the users are used to watch
- Reduce time and stress to produce training media
