Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Ceridian Dayforce is our one-stop shop for all our HCM & HRIS needs. We also use Dayforce for tracking project coding hours to bill our customers via costing jobs. It is used by all employees for tracking time working as well as requesting time away from work. Dayforce with the payroll module has taken us from a two-part process for payroll to having one system do it all. It has saved us money and time as well as alleviated any concerns with being compliant with federal/provincial legislation.The reporting aspect is just amazing. We are able to track chargeable hours vs non-chargeable hours then compare the wages as a percentage of total costs. We are able to see the all the employment statistics as a company to measure how we are doing analytically.

Pros

  • Dayforce has the IT expertise to keep up with the evolving changes.
  • They listen to their customers needs and wants and are continually updating the program.

Cons

  • Dayforce could be more user friendly when configuring a specialized report.
  • It is taking a long time to convert from Silverlight (a Microsoft product no longer supported) to HTLM.
  • We are saving money as we are now billed equally according to the number of employees not what modules we have.
  • I'm saving time as I only need to use one system not two to process payroll
I have experienced the benefits of saving time and money using Ceridian Dayforce. I would highly recommend this product to any company looking the best solution for all their HCM or HRIS applications. It is user-friendly with help only a phone call away. We are looking to purchase more modules in the future as our company grows.
Dayforce is well suited for project coding for cost accounting. We are able to bill our customers via project coding due to the fact we have touch clocks the employees can go to punch a project (job) they are working on. When the employee has finished working on that job they can punch the code for the next one. The time management keeps track and exports to our accounting software.
