Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use it for an individual manager to set up schedules, approve time, and enter new employees at their location. We also use it to pay employees, manage benefits, and run reports.
Pros
- Customer service communication, they respond quickly to all tickets put in the system
- It is easy to navigate the system for our employees
- Clean and easily understood earning statements
Cons
- Reporting is difficult to use and the stock reports are not always the most useful
- Implementation was difficult and they left too many open items when they transitioned us to support
- Not all features work the way they should, like that employees cannot reset their own passwords.
- Reduced reliance on paper
- Tighten up payroll processes, less running around
- Less mistakes
It helped us with the FLSA rules for OT and it helps us to run reports to ensure compliance.
It makes it easy to see, in an instant, the payment amount for an employee and make a decision on pay.
Some features I like on Dayforce, but others are not available and it makes it difficult to manage.
