Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

Dayforce is being used across the whole organization from scheduling and labor management at the restaurants, to HRIS, payroll and recruiting in the HR dept, this system has allowed our organization to process data in real-time for more accurate and efficient business practices.

  • They are switching from Silverlight to HTML and it is causing some slowness that I hope improves when all modules are on HTML.
  • We have a positive ROI due to turning our company from 90% paper-based to less than 5% paper based.
  • We have seen a lot of increased efficiency with our field managers who are spending less time creating schedules and managing their labor.
  • We have increased productivity in HR dept due to employee self-service... the HR team spends less time on data entry.
If there are any policies or rules that aren't automatically automated by Ceridian Dayforce then the system is easily configured to make sure you are compliant.
Managers are able to update schedules in real-time based on needs, the mobile app allows for schedule changes between employees, and the schedule is integrated with the real-time time punches which then can be calculated on a paycheck at a moment's notice.
We've experienced a significant impact in Payroll in regards to being able to pay employees in real-time rather than having to wait for the end of the pay period to import data from a different system. We can process, audit and correct payroll at any time during the pay period to ensure a more accurate payroll. This has been instrumental in cost-savings for our company.
Dayforce is well-suited for large companies, global companies and multiple pay groups. I think it is less appropriate for organizations that prefer to outsource their payroll.
