Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce HCM is currently being used by HR, Payroll, Department Managers and Supervisors. Our goal is to implement self-service for all employees to use. We purchased Dayforce because of the fact that it is an all-in-one software solution and we wanted to have more transparency in regards to analytics and managing business needs.
- Dayforce is hands down the leader of innovation when it comes to HCM. They think creatively and use customer feedback to improve their system.
- They have excellent customer resources.
- Their system is all-in-one and live and on demand which is crucial when you have so many things in motion.
- Implementation: They need more seasoned / senior consultants to help customers during implementation. Very limited resources in regards to implementation support.
- Security could improve in regards to how granular it can go. Right now, you can't nail down security based on a Pay Group and I would like to see that happen.
- Professional Services could be a little quicker and more accessible. It seems that a lot of the professional services are in other time zones which makes it difficult to get projects completed quickly.
- We do not have to use paper attendance cards any longer for attendance tracking. Dayforce has great attendance management.
- Quicker payroll processing has increased payroll productivity greatly and has reduced processing time by half.
- The fact that we do not have to log into more than one database to manage time and payroll is a huge time saver which directly affects our gross profit.
This is the first payroll solution that can handle California's OT and Alternative Work Schedule rules. Also, ACA reporting was a breeze last year and the ability to audit and see issues right away is relieving.
It has positively affected how we handle recruiting, onboarding, and timekeeping. If we need to see an overall picture of an employee's attendance and compensation, it can easily be seen in one section.
It is a time saver to say the least. We used to utilize 4 different systems for our HRIS and it was time-consuming and cumbersome. Every keystroke introduces the risk of data entry errors. Having an all-in-one reduces this risk and truly makes HR and Payroll much more efficient and accurate.
