Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian is being used mainly by our HR and Payroll departments but it is used companywide. It provides us with a single database for employee files, is a tool for processing payroll, managing benefits, and processing employee changes.
- Tax Reporting - Ceridian manages most of our tax calculations and reporting while providing frequent updates of new tax laws.
- Workforce Management - Ceridian has a plethora of methods for handling scheduling, time tracking, and time reporting.
- Recruiting - Ceridian is focusing very heavily on their recruiting module which provides most of the functionalities of a best in class system while having the benefit of being a single HCM platform.
- Service support - Many times it takes up to a week to have a service request responded to. Many times you have to frequently follow up with the service rep to get a request completed.
- Performance - Performance is only done one way and it is not very flexible.
- Forms - Most forms are in XML and the ones that are not cannot be adjusted. Ceridian also limits the data you can access in forms.
- Increased cost savings through workflow efficiency.
- Reduced exposure through carrier exports and sophisticated pay and punch policies.
It allows us to automate the majority of our compliance-related concerns for unions, taxes, state and federal legislation, COBRA, and 401K.
It makes change management much easier since the managers only have to learn one system rather than multiple. It also provides all of the data in one place that is easy for managers to access.
It reduces errors and improves our compliance. It also reduces the time spent by our developers and business process clerks managing data and integrations.
