Checkout.com helps me to verify a customer who wants to use a card to fund their brokerage/investing account, and automatically settles the proceeds with a US based custodian of funds.
- 3DS Auth process
- Timely settlement to an overseas merchant
- Highly Stable API and Good Documentation for Implementation
- The reporting around fees charged
- The inability to get fees for a particular transaction till 10-15 minutes after it has happened. We cannot show the exact fees to our customer.
- The excel report of the checkout.com fees is rather crazy and has two different lines for certain fees as well as too many columns. There must be a simpler excel breakdown possible for those who don't want all the details.
- A positive impact of no-complaints on client experience when executing a deposit transaction when it involves a charge to their card
Checkout.com has managed to seamlessly understand the program we want to offer consumers, and made it possible for a consumer to make an instant payment to his/her brokerage account based in another country by also coordinating to deposit those funds abroad with relevant remarks on the transaction. Checkout.com's local team are highly savvy about the norms, business practices and enablement of business.
Checkout.com is by far a superior product offering a lot more granular control over the client experience.
