Since there’s a wide selection in access points and antennas, we’ll always find a suitable option to have the performance that is needed for the scope. There is also a lot of flexibility for the configuration so you can adapt to the customers needs and make sure the whole scope gets covered.
Cisco Catalyst 9100 Access Points and the Cisco wireless controller have multiple options for deployment. With Cisco flexconnect and local switching, we can use the local internet line for specific SSID’s when there’s too much latency towards the WLC. It also provides redundancy when the WLC connection goes down and the clients stay connected.
The setup and configuration speaks for itself, although Meraki is easier but that’ll made for it. Once you got eveything running adding new access points is very easily and can be automated with other tools like catalyst center. Adding many access points at the same time is very easy and makes it possible for every level.
With the flexibility of connecting many different sites, we can get coverage is offices or locations all over the world. So there’s many possibilities and flexibility in deploying and maintaining the wireless networks. Nothing to complain about this and I would suggest going to Cisco for this solution since there’s so many options.
Catalyst center makes easy deployment easy and provides extended troubleshooting and visibility from the WLC. This tool is highly recommended and mandatory to make things easier. Deploying many AP’s in no time is never been so easy and can be fully automated in to the catalyst center, making project much easier.
