Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches
We were using a mix breed of network switches in our organization and they were working fine as long as the number of users was low. But, as the company started to grow and the number of users increased, our network traffic also increased significantly to a point where these switches started to malfunction as they were unable to handle a large amount of traffic. Then, we replaced them with Cisco Catalyst Switches and, since then, they have performed really well and up to the mark.

Cisco Catalyst Switches support advanced centralized management via Cisco DNA center or Cisco Prime infrastructure. However, our organization is planning to purchase any one of these tools as per our environmental needs but currently, these tools are not being used in our organization and they are still in the demo and procurement phase.
D-Link Ethernet Switches were being mostly used in our organization with some other lesser-known brands as well. These switches were made for small businesses and home users and they were not able to handle large amounts of traffic from hundreds of users simultaneously. Cisco Catalyst Switches on the other hand are enterprise-grade switches and can handle heavy traffic efficiently and it supports all features like VLANs and trunking, etc.
