Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

We use it as our a first layer of Network defence.

Pros

  • Profiling and identification of devices
  • Deploying SGACLs and ACLs based upon auth-profiles
  • Session logging - the live logs are great

Cons

  • The Trustsec matrix cannot handle higher amounts of SGTs
  • A Dataconnect options to pull to external analytics like PowerBI directly
  • We are able to Identity unknown devices and classify risks to show to our business
