Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

We use it for TACACS authentication, or managing the authentication for network routers and switches.

Pros

  • The user interface has been improved and is more responsive and faster.

Cons

  • I have a lot of feature requests. It might be too long to describe them all, but there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of its capability and compatibility with other things in obsession.
  • It meets the compliance requirements.
In terms of ease of use, It's such a legacy application that it's pretty well known and well established and so in that sense it's easier to configure it.
