Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series

Overall Satisfaction with Cisco IP Phones

We use the 7800 Series across our entire organization in the head office and branch office. It is currently being used as a VOIP handset which integrates into Cisco WebEx calling. We find it is the perfect tool for collaboration and really sets us apart or should I say Cisco Technologies is helping us bridge the gap between innovation and business requirements. You should read my review on Cisco Webex to fully understand the complete context of this review.
  • The wide range of models in the series allows you to easily match users' requirements.
  • The headset capability works perfect for our service desk agents.
  • The design works well with our office environment.
  • I think the back-light feature isn't adequate in an office with lot of sunlight.
  • Perhaps the cords could be more robust.
  • Overall satisfaction is 10/10.
  • Licensing model is a negative
  • Renewal of licensing is a negative
  • Overall satisfaction is a positive
As mentioned in my previous comment, Cisco Stands apart from Yealink because of its features. The functionality and ease of use are exceptional and makes transferring skills to users a breeze. The added bonus for myself is that Cisco offers phenomenal audio quality that makes it the perfect headset for hearing impaired people.
I cannot fault and comment on support if we haven't used it yet. The 10 I am giving is because there was no need for Cisco support, that means Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series should sell itself. If my review is not making you stand in line then I don't know what will.

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco IP Phones's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco IP Phones live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco IP Phones go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco IP Phones again?

Yes

I have a hearing impairment and before we introduced Cisco's Telephony portfolio into our organization, we used to use another brand (not going to say the name but it starts with a Y). Whilst I don't have a complete loss of hearing, I can say I am at 60% capability. Having said that, Cisco audio quality allows the perfect environment for me not to run programs to convert speech to text.
